A song so nice, I bought it twice (didn't realise I'd already bought it on the Refuge comp on the same day)!
Love this band. Best discovery so far this year (thanks Gary Davidson).

lyrics
Come the bone collector,
Fired from a gun.
Hail the great protector,
Make the demons run.
Steel,
Lesson carved in stone,
Never learned.
Real,
Face it on your own,
Eons burn.
Hail the great deflector,
Blackened is the sun.
Come the flag defender,
Kingdom fucking come.
Steel,
Lesson carved in stone,
Never learned.
Real,
Face it on your own,
Eons burn.
Brute force.
Tell me I’m alive and give me thunder.
A fanfare to revive a raised fist.
Tell me who survived through this hunger.
A run aground demise,
A swing and miss.
On these cattle die,
Torn asunder.
An ever mourning choir in this abyss.
Tell me I’m alive and give me thunder.
A fanfare to revive a raised fist.

I remember in my childhood near a village there was a place full of dead trees, red and dead from all the chemicals that were dumped into the nearby bay from the chemical plant. That's exactly the vibes I get from this effort, similar in story or not. Morbid! But hopefully a wake up call for some as well. Aleksei Tepljakov
The video for "Theurgist," from True Widow's forthcoming "Avvolgere," is as prismatic & hypnotic as the song it accompanies. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 15, 2016
